Write for me
I want Your Voice to be useful and informative for anyone, but specifically for parents and carers. For this to happen I need articles from you. You don't have to be a perfect writer. Can't have you being better at it than me anyway because I'm the Editor! Just be like me and write from the heart. Write a question about an issue in your life, tell others through this e-zine how you have overcome issues in your life. They don't necessarily have to be parenting issues, they can just be life issues! Feel free to celebrate your successes, or just spill your guts. If you're worried about it being relevant - don't be. send it in to me anyway.
I will attempt to make the e-zine hang together by grouping articles on similar topics together. I ask in return that you critique it for me. Tell me what works and what doesn't. If I don't give you enough information tell me. If I give you too much tell me. If I come across as patronising tell me. I won't be offended, you will be helping me to provide a better product for it's readers.
Why not help me to help others. Let's pool our knowledge of both the issues and the solutions. If we ever encounter an issue that we can't find a solution for I will call on the help of members of my professional backup team who I always have behind me 'just in case', because I'm only human and don't always have all of the answers. But I am confident - love them as I do - that we'll probably never need them. We all have our own answers within us. It sometimes just needs the right trigger to get them out.
I want this newsletter to act as that trigger, together with a backup of my backup team and the resources that the Win At Your Life web links to. We will always find a way.
Remember this e-zine is a team effort, so join my team, help me to help others by sharing your knowledge and experience.

Hi ! Welcome to Your Voice. Thank you for your subscription. I hope you enjoy the contents. Please pass this issue on to parents/carers or anyone else who you think will find it useful.
This e-zine is written by parents and carers by parents and carers. It will be used to share experiences, strength, knowledge, hope and fun of carers world-wide.
Why Your Voice? Because I believe that everyone deserves the right to be heard. I have also learnt a lot about dealing with life by hearing the voice of others who have successfully dealt with theirs.
Will the real me please stand up!
DEVELOP YOUR OWN IDENTITIY!
There are so many 'people' in life trying to influence how you live your life - parents, carers, friends, colleagues, bosses and society in general More often than not we can be swept along what we think is the easier route – living up to everyone’s expectations – even though we’re doomed to fail because it is impossible to satisfy everyone’s demands. Is it any wonder we loose sight of who we are and what we want?
This is exactly why I became a personal identity coach. I believe that everyone has a right to take responsibility for their own behaviour, their own life choices and their own success. My thanks to Abigail Jones a wonderful client who has recently completed the 'Win at Your Life Programme'. Abigail mentioned that it was an ‘enlightening adventure’. For my part it was also an inspirational experience to witness such amazing personal growth.
That is why I do what I do.

 Number twos WAKE UP!
“Behind every great leader lies an even greater enabler”
Think of all of the great leaders in our society, politicians, and chief executives. How effective are they as leaders?
But why are they great leaders – well the good ones anyway?
Is it to do with their knowledge? Probably. What about their skills? Possibly. How about personality? Definitely. But what differentiates a good leader from a great leader?
I believe it is their number two, the person who enables them to lead well.
So who are these number twos?
A number two is the right hand man or woman of the leader. It could be an assistant leader, a personal assistant or a wife/husband. What these number two’s may not be aware of is their own potential and power.
Number twos are commonly defined by someone else’s role. Their boss’s, their partners. Although they have immense power, they are not always recognised as individuals within their own right.
If you are a number two - read on!

What is Win AT Your Life?
Win at Your Life is a programme of twelve one hour virtual sessions designed to help you discover who you really are, what you want out of life and how to get it.
We are so busy in life attemting to fit so much in, multi-tasking, over achieving, trying to optimise our potential, but are we really being effective for ourselves or for others? It's all well and good aiming to be bigger and better, but bigger and better than what? And where's our start point? Our baseline? How can we know what we need to achieve when we rarely take the time out to know where we are now and what we've got to work with?
The programme helps give you the time (Twelve hours across 3 or 6 months is not a massive amount) to take responsibility for your life decisions and your success. You will make it happen.
So how do you?>>
This week check out who influences your life the most. If it isn't YOU then do something about it! Let me know how you get on.
