I'm personally not sure it is for everyone, but I know for a fact that mine
hasn't been easy. Those who know me well, tell me that it has taken a lot of strength
and courage to 'survive' the life I have led.
So what is my secret to survival?
Two major steps that I needed to take were:
Ask for help - I found this almost impossible so I appreciate the difficulties with this;
and give myself a break - get rid of the monkey on my shoulder and replace it with inspirational self-talk.
This book is the self-talk I have used to survive. Together with my photographs of places in and around Cheshire that I regularly visit for a little bit of peace and sanity.
As these worked for me, then I am happy to share them with you in the hope that you might find them as useful. If not ... you can always develop your own!
